Other tea producers often include blends of other tea leaves and added aroma but our president Akky does not add anything unnecessary to our tea. Kabuse Sencha is our most premium tea. It produces a rich sweet flavor due to the way it is grown. Cultivated by covering the tea plants just after new leaves begin to sprout in April, the shade reduces sunlight by as much as 85% to encourage the tea plants to produce wide, tender, chlorophyll-rich tea leaves.

Houjicha is perfect for drinking after meals or before going to bed due to its low caffeine content. It has a warm and deep aroma of roasted tea that can help you relax. You can also enjoy our houjicha in teabags at work when you need to unwind. Try it with hot soy milk or milk to create a houjicha latte.
