Our Tea Candies are made from our own premium matcha powder therefore, we can enjoy green tea’s natural taste. In each candy, premium quality Uji matcha powder is used to create a very rich taste of green tea. Please also enjoy the natural tastes of houjicha and genmaicha.

Houjicha Candy

For our Houjicha Candy, we use Houjicha (Basic Roast) tea leaves. Please click here to read more about Houjicha.

To make our Houjicha Candy, we first extract the houjicha from our houjicha tea leaves by using hot water. After that, we mixed the extract with the candy.

How our candies are made?

Obubu’s tea candies are produced specially by Hoshodo and are only sold at Obubu Tea. Hoshodo is a Kyoto-style candy maker and it was established in 1897 in Teramachi, Kyoto.
