Our Genmaicha Candy is made in a same method as our Matcha Candy. Genmaicha powder is mixed together during the kneading of candy while the candy is still warm.

How our candies are made?

Obubu’s tea candies are produced specially by Hoshodo and are only sold at Obubu Tea. Hoshodo is a Kyoto-style candy maker and it was established in 1897 in Teramachi, Kyoto.

Using traditional methods, shop manager Mr. Tanaka continues the tradition.

Matcha is mixed during the kneading of candy.
