In addition to marketing Obubu’s tea products, ObubuTea.com was created with the ambitious goal of creating an authoritative source for all things tea (with a focus on Japanese green tea of course). We intend to provide information not only for tea drinkers (tea brewing techniques, health benefits, etc.) but also for tea farmers and producers in other countries looking for tips on how to get started.

We encourage you to become a writer with us in exchange for samples of our tea. And, we encourage tea farmers, producers, and other shop owners to contact us as we seek to build a network of independent tea industry professionals.

Webmaster, marketing specialist, business liaison, you name it! Meeting Yasuharu Matsumoto, Obubu’s VP and sales manager, was probably fated. I was looking for an innovative Japanese business to help promote as part of my New Year’s resolution to start a marketing and media company bridging Japan and the world. He was looking for someone to help him with his English and activities outside of Japan. One thing led to another and here we are! Building bridges over the language gaps will be difficult, but we’ll find a way!
